In this fictional short drama, I aimed to explore the story of Himari, an easygoing young woman who fell in love with Riku. The narrative is structured as a letter from Himari to Riku, a student who left town after his parents were transferred from Tokyo to Nagoya. The story’s pacing is dictated by a carefully selected soundtrack and scenes in which Himari and Riku’s expressions and body movements match the rhythm. As the story unfolds, Himari narrates what life was like in Riku’s presence. Shades of red, yellow, and green enhance the vivid, youthful atmosphere of the film. Despite being a drama, contrast levels were kept mid-to-low, and the highlights were partially faded.
